A single film, regular content or support throughout the season. I can join you on board to film, train your crew, or work remotely with the footage you send me.
Crew training
Practical training on board, with guidance on equipment setup, camera settings, shot planning and capturing clean sound. Your crew builds the confidence and skills to record consistent, usable footage for future films I can edit.
Remote editing
Send me your footage and I handle the edit, colour and sound. From guest trip films and charter recaps to destination videos and social content, I shape it into a film with a clear story and a strong sense of the experience.
Bespoke projects

I’m Matt, founder of Studios Afloat. For the past eight years, I’ve produced films for owners and guests aboard some of the world’s most prestigious yachts.
Before yachting, I served in the British Airborne Forces with 16 Air Assault Brigade. That experience shaped how I work today: staying calm under pressure, adapting when plans change and paying attention to the details.
Working on board gives me a clear understanding of the demands on crew, the importance of discretion and the standards owners expect.
I work closely with each crew, from filming guidance through to the final edit, to create a film that captures the essence of the trip and the people who made it memorable.
